Abstract
Este trabajo describe la evolución desde los sistemas de transferencia de
conocimientos agrarios más tradicionales, con transmisión lineal de la investigación a los
usuarios, hasta sistemas que propicien en mayor medida la innovación, con la
intervención de multiplicidad de actores entre los que se incluyen investigadores,
agricultores, asesores, educadores, políticos, empresarios, etc. Se inicia el trabajo con la
diferenciación entre información y conocimiento, así como las definiciones de innovación
como punto de partida para describir los sistemas de conocimiento para la innovación
agraria (AKIS). Posteriormente, se describen los sistemas AKIS en Europa y en España.
A continuación, se han seleccionados las tendencias más actuales que se están
proponiendo en la Unión Europea para los cambios de los sistemas tradicionales a los
más innovadores. Finalmente, se efectúan unas reflexiones sobre cómo realizar los
cambios.
This work describes the evolution from the traditional agricultural knowledge transfer system, adopted for the lineal transfer from research to end users or farmers, up to systems more focused on innovation, with multiple actors interacting including researchers, farmers, advisors, educators, policy makers, businessmen, etc. At the beginning of the work, there are statements to differentiate information and knowledge as well as different definitions about innovation as the starting point to describe knowledge systems for agricultural innovation (AKIS). Next sections deal with the AKIS in Europe and Spain. Later on, the actual European Union trends about changes from traditional to innovative systems are exposed. Finally, there are some reflections about the necessary changes to carry out in order to achieve innovative models.
