Se ha determinado la cantidad de macroelementos
necesarios para producir una cosecha
en un conjunto de 11 variedades de almendro,
mostrando la gran diversidad de necesidades
que presentan las distintas variedades, fundamentalmente
en función de los distintos componentes
del fruto, el mesocarpio, el endocarpio y
la semilla. La variedad ‘Guara’ ha resultado ser
la variedad más eficiente en el aprovechamiento
de los elementos minerales para la producción de
una determinada cantidad de pepita por hectárea,
mientras que las variedades de cáscara blanda
son las menos eficientes.
Productive efficiency in almond. The amount of macro elements required to produce a given crop has been determined for a set of 11 almond cultivars, showing a large diversity of requirements among the different cultivars, mainly de pending on the different fruit components: the mesocarp (hull), the endocarp (shell) and the seed (kernel). ‘Guara’ has been shown to be the most efficient cultivar in profiting the mineral elements for the production of an amount of kernels per hectare, whereas the soft–shell cultivars were the least efficient.
